I was wary of coming here after reading quite a few negative reviews, but we really enjoyed our time here. Granted, we had an 8:45 reservation on a Wednesday night and did not initially encounter the bouncer that everyone has referenced in their reviews, though he was outside when we left around 11. The vibes were on point, the service was efficient, and the drinks were sophisticated and delicious. As I mentioned, we were here on the early side so when we arrived it was only about 1/3 or 1/2 full. By the time we left it was pretty packed, and I've heard it's definitely more a late night spot but still impressive that there's so much traffic on a Wednesday night. We both loved the decor, creative and classy, swanky lounge vibes. I'm a martini lover so, while all of the drinks looked amazing, I knew I'd regret it if I didn't take advantage of Temple Bar's martini menu. I'm very into savory drinks so two stood out to me and our server confirmed that they were both fantastic. To start, I had the Olive Oil Martini (2:1 Gin, olive oil washed dry and blanc vermouths, & olives), dirty-ish but super smooth and crisp. I then got the Salt & Pepper Martini (Gin, Manzanilla sherry, blanc vermouth, piment d'espelette, saline, & celery), which was such a treat because I've actually made this drink several times at home because the specs are up on Punch Drink. I've even made it for people who tend not to like martinis or feel they're too strong and even they like it, I think because of the gin-to-sherry ratio. Like my first drink it had dirty-ish-type vibes while still being super unique. Though I didn't try them, my friend loved her drinks too and was equally impressed with the overall experience here. And we both loved the popcorn!

I went with my two friends on a Friday evening without a reservation (a reservation is required to sit in the back though). We didn't notice the door so had to backtrack. It's a dimly lit cocktail bar that would be great as a date spot. The cocktails are definitely pricey but good. We ordered a como spritz, trouble maker, and temple house gibson martini. All three were strong and tasty.

A hidden gem! From the service, to the ambiance, to the drinks, everything was a 10/10 for me. I will daydream of this bar. Cheers.

Had a really nice time here. Friend made a reservation and we were seated promptly. Enjoyed my drink and the complimentary popcorn. DJ was spinnin some good tunes! Would recommend!

Dimly lit, warm library feel lounge. Shared bottle of Pinot here Met friendly folks Vibed to a chill DJ spinning 90's R&B Noelle was our server - accommodating and pleasant

Love it! Vibe, DJ, the balloons all have happening atmosphere! We had reservation, not easy to get in without one. Perfect for Saturday night after dinner when you don't want to call it a night! We only got shots and cocktails not sure how the food is but for sure not a eating vibe more like drink to die! Long line for bathroom though! Will go back for sure!
